Sol
Finding holiday accommodation in Madrid with outdoor space is seriously rare.
So the fact that Sweet Sol Apartment has a huge outdoor terrace surrounded by beautiful architecture is really quite remarkable.
At Sweet Sol Apartment, prepare for endless hours of relaxation in the sun (with a chilled drink in hand of course).
Inside, it just keeps getting better.
The combined living & dining space is open and bright, offering exposed brick, a stunning kitchen and quirky furnishings.
The master bedroom has french doors that open wide onto the terrace for your morning coffee, whilst the second twin bedroom is great for kids.
Both bedrooms have ensuites and space for all of your holiday outfits.
Located on a buzzing pedestrianised street in the Sol neighbourhood, this brilliantly located apartment is minutes’ walk from the famous Puerta del Sol square and Plaza Mayor.

3. The Perennial Prince
Palacio
Countryside chic is probably not what you’d expect from a holiday rental in the centre of Madrid, but The Perennial Prince Apartment is a serious vibe.
Oatmeal tones and natural materials like jute rugs, bamboo and beechwood create a stunning space in the upmarket Palacio neighbourhood of Madrid, just five minutes walk from the royal palace.
The one-bedroom apartment features a double bedroom full of natural light, a living area with a piano and small balcony, a modern white kitchen and a flawless shower room.
One of the best things about The Perennial Prince Apartment is the street it’s found on, which is lined with beautiful buildings and overlooked by the 17th century city hall at the end of the street.
If you’re visiting Spain for the architecture, Palacio should be your neighbourhood of choice.

Barrio de las Letras
Located in the literary quarter of Madrid, Cosy Colores Apartment is a luxury book-lovers dream.
White washed walls and airy french doors are met with vibrant splashes of colour, creating a tranquil space for your mini-break to Madrid.
Old meets new at the Cosy Colores Apartment, where the sleek marble kitchen island sits next to an original 19th century cast iron pillar.
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms make Cosy Colores Apartment perfect for a couples holiday or a small family.
My favourite feature has to be the dining table made from ancient oak, which is protected by a glass sheet.
Barrio de las Letras or ‘Huertas’ is Madrid’s literary neighbourhood, once home to Spain’s great 17th-century writers.
In fact, Cosy Colores Apartment is found on the same street as playwright Lope de Vega’s 17th century house.
Today, it remains a beating heart of Spanish culture, with theatres, flamenco shows and traditional cafés and bars.

5. The Bookbinder Apartment
La Latina
I’m a sucker for exposed brick, so The Bookbinder Apartment has to be my favourite home in the Madrid luxury accommodation guide.
Housed in an old book-bindery from Madrid’s industrial era, expect loft-style living complete with timber beams and original cast iron pillars.
The double-height living area is light and spacious, whilst on the mezzanine level you’ll find a large dining table and more comfy sofas.
3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms make The Bookbinder Apartment suitable for 10 guests, which means it’s perfect for a group trip to Madrid with friends or family.
It’s no wonder that this beautiful old property is found in La Latina, Madrid’s oldest neighbourhood.
La Latina is a maze of narrow lanes lined with cantinas and tapas bars.
On Sundays, the buzzing El Rastro flea market is a popular spot for finding treasures and people watching.

The compact-but-perfectly-formed space features a brand new kitchen (with Nespresso machine & the whole pod collection!), a comfy double bed, living area, dining space and a sleek modern bathroom.
Even better, the original French doors open out onto a gorgeous balcony, the perfect spot for your morning coffee or a glass of albariño before dinner.

The 3 ensuite bathrooms are brand new and one even has a double basin vanity, giving you all the space you need to get ready for a night on the town.

In the dining room a huge hand-painted piece of art covers the entire wall, creating the perfect spot for your tapas evening.
The two bedrooms feature colourful artwork from around the world, and the master has a walk-in closet and ensuite.

A trip to Madrid is all about visiting bars & restaurants, but the beautiful wooden dining table is a perfect spot for a cheese board and glass of wine after a heavy day sightseeing.
The sleek kitchen is a dream to make your morning coffee in, and who doesn’t love a vintage motorcycle in the hallway?!
