By far my favourite place in Southern Queensland, Noosa is a little slice of paradise that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. From rugged coastline & captivating forests to white sandy beaches & calm dazzling blue bays, you could spend weeks exploring all that the area has to offer. The recent Australian bushfires have opened our eyes to the impact humans are having on our natural environment and I believe if we can all make our holidays a little more sustainable, the impact will be overwhelmingly positive. Habitat Noosa Everglades Ecocamp

Set amongst 65 acres of lush greenery and with 500 metres of private beachfront on the stunning Noosa River, Habitat Noosa provides an eco-camp experience you’ll never forget. The accommodation utilizes minimal electricity and focuses on reconnecting with nature without the high-tech gadgets that dominate our everyday lives. Whether you choose to stay in an en-suite Paperbark teepee or a cosy campout-style Wilderness tent, you’re guaranteed to have a blissful night’s sleep under the stars.
Located at Elanda Point, you can spend your day exploring Cooloola National Park or making friends with the large eastern grey kangaroo population that also live in the eco-resort. If you’re feeling adventurous, Habitat Noosa offers eco-tours such as kayaking, paddle boarding & boat trips through the sub-tropical rainforest of the Everglades wetlands.
One of the best things about camping is outdoor BBQs and campfire snacks, but if cooking ain’t your thing you can head to Habitat’s very own Coothara restaurant. Serving up hearty dishes using local produce, a meal here is the perfect way to end a fun-filled day in the great outdoors. They have plenty of vegan-friendly options on the menu and to make things even better, they have their own brewery on-site offering 4 signature beers.
